Went to Dr a fortnight ago with gastro. She then booked me in for a health check. Had to cancel as I was too poorly, and when I rang in they said it was to do with the fact I had GD in both pregnancies. DS2 is now 8 and I haven't been checked since post-natal check.

Had blood test on Monday - I think it was full blood count. Drs rang on Tues and I have to go on tomorrow to see nurse and see a doctor. I am terrified. Does this sound like a usual route to diagnosis or is it something else?

Hope it is all ok, OP.

It is usual practice in our surgery during a full health check to first see the nurse who weighs you, does a questionnaire, takes BP, weight, etc and then to see the doctor.

Hopefully it is all routine. Flowers
