Hi ladies.
So today I went for screening for diabetes after I had GD with my pregnancy 5 years ago!
Can anyone explain the process?
What's happens now? I should have the results back on Friday but I don't know what I'm expecting.
Hand holding Or advice from ladies who have been in a similar situation?

I have not been tested as part of any formal monitoring cycle but due to feeling unwell have recently been tested and told I have type 2 diabetes. DD is nearly 7. I was advised that having GD puts you at increased risk of developing diabetes later on. I was insulin dependent GD if that makes a difference. Have now been told to lose weight otherwise I will need to start taking metformin. Good luck.
