Do you have pre-diabetes? Are you at high-risk of developing Type 2 diabetes?
Help shape the future of Type 2 diabetes prevention in England.
The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (being developed by NHS England, Public Health England and Diabetes UK) will help people who are at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes reduce their risk by supporting them to make changes to their lifestyle. To make sure that this programme meets the needs of people at high risk of developing diabetes, Diabetes UK is establishing a User Involvement Group.
We are looking for people who have been told they are at high or moderate risk of developing Type 2 diabetes (this may also be referred to as Impaired Glucose Regulation, pre-diabetes or borderline diabetes). You don’t need to have experience of taking part in this kind of group before, you just need to be eager to share your views. The group will meet every two months. Expenses will be reimbursed and full support will be provided to help you take part.
