Eye prescription improving

I had a sight test yesterday which showed a marked improvement in both eyes (after years of steadily declining/ remaining stable ). The optician said it could be a sign of diabetes and has written to my doctor. I can't find any info about this online - haas anyone had anything similar? I did have gestational diabetes but DS is now 11 months, so would expect that to have resolved by now?

I googled this and found that site:

bodyandhealth.canada.com/condition_info_details.asp?disease_id=94

It actually says nearsightedness would WORSEN because of diabetes.

Oo

Get your blood sugar tested - if it improved, you would want to know. :)
