Dh had an eye test approx 3 years & got glasses. All fine. He then felt he needed stronger ones around 16 months ago. The optician asked how he managed his diabetes or something along those lines. He promised to get it checked. He still hasn't & refuses to. He is v nervous of drs,hospital,needles etc.
My mum has diabetes which is a lot better once she had lost weight & she is pretty sensible.
Dh stuffs sweet foods & is bloody grumpy. Mum said he must feel dreadful if he has got it. He refuses to acknowledge it (part of other problems) & I'm wondering what the worst case scenario is as I'm worried. He is 52.
