U.K. DWP Appointee for Spanish parent

Hi, does anyone know if you can and what is the process to get DWP appointeeship for my elderly parent who lives abroad whom has now been admitted to a care home and doesn’t have full capacity and needs me to take care of his pension?

Suggest you call the pensions department of the dwp . Has any one a diagnoses of dimentia.Are you in the uk and parent in another country . You may need um yours and parents n.i. numbers .Do you know if pension is paid into a UK bank . If you ring the dept may wish to talk to you at home or at a office they may need to check you out ( no disrespect) it's how they work so either give the dept a ring or l think there is an e mail address for advice.

Yeah I understand the process of the parent is in the U.K., they visit both parties. Just wondered if the parent was in Spain how they would facilitate that. I shall call them. Thanks!
