Cold feet

i am just wondering if this is connected to dementia decline or just because older people are more susceptible to the cold and what I can do that might help?

Just been with my father for an unrelated doctors appointment. Came home and he went to lie down. His feet are absolutely freezing and once mum put his slippers on he kept asking if she had therefore implying he still couldn’t feel his feet.

To give context of where he’s at: I would say he’s mid to late stage. Often can’t remember where he is, has no idea where he has just been, and thinks he is supposed to be doing something for work when he’s been retired 25 years.

How awful for you all.

I can second the Heat Holders. My DF had poor circulation as he aged and these did help.
