Covid Jab

My elderly parent who has Alzhiemer's had her covid jab on Thursday. She has been in bed on and off since then and has been even more confused. She's been in bed all day today and retched. I think perhaps she didn't cook her dinner properly last night. I don't think she has been eating much overall.

Not sure if I should ring the doctor if she's still ill by Tuesday?

If she’s not been well and has been in bed she maybe isn’t drinking enough. Does she live with anyone who could keep encouraging her to drink & to eat little and often?

Increased confusion and/or a change in usual behavior are the first signs that someone with dementia may be dehydrated
