Hi my mum has delirium and is very confused and not eating we made the decison of having an NG tube fitted and she has to wear medical restraint mittens as she pulls everything out , However I've just had a call from the nurse saying that she's still fidgeting with the tube which to me is normal for anyone but she could dislodge it the nurse has suggested a bridle to prevent her doing so .. I've looked it up and it seems very invasive has anyone experienced them or knows about them 'I'm feeling very reluctant shes been through so much
