My MIL is in a nursing home due to dementia caused by a series of mini strokes. Recently, FIL (who is in his 80s) has told us that he has rekindled a friendship with an old flame - at present its mostly via email although he has been to visit a couple of times. He says he is very lonely.
We have mixed feelings about it and wondered if anyone has any wise words for us.
