Games for DH?

Good morning dadsnet..

Not that kind of games, pervs

DH is looking to join a local footie or basketball group (we're new here so don't have a lot of friends, and none of the ones we do are in to sports)- just to start moving around the old bones..he's really good at both.

SO
where can we look for something like that? any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated..

I'm not a dad, and just came onto dadsnet for of a lurk look, but I see no-one has replied yet so here are my suggestions re

He should check out the local parks on a Saturday morning for footie.
Also, the local pub might have a team so it might bne worth asking there.

Basketball.. again, check the local parks; also phone up leisure/recreation centres and see if they have basketball.
