What was your best or even worst stag do you have had/been to?

My partner is best man and organising the "do" but the groom isn't keen much for the slutty ladies route but rather something activity wise then drinking, bout 15 fellas going.....I would be grateful for your thoughts and experiences

Ooh if its relevant, he would like to have his stag weekend in Cambridge.

TIA

Hi, I'm female so obviously haven't been on any stag weekends, but my dh has. He really enjoyed go-carting, paint-balling, poker tournament, wind-surfing, sailing. Nothing that out of the ordinary but hope it gives you some ideas!

Where abouts are you ? I have a friend, who for fun could come dressed in themed gear...not smutty at all, just fun and a big surprise . No stripping, just lots of attention on the Groom, well, and everyone else too. !!
U.S. Police cop outfit by the way .

I went to my mates stag weekend in the lake district - we did: clay pigeon shooting (that was probably the best in my opinion), indoor go-karting, some drinking, he went for a flying lesson. For my stag do I went to a restaurant I really liked and then an old boozer. It was very good, even though it was simple!

The only think I'll say is.

Have the stag do the night before the wedding. Go old school on it. This stag do weeks before the wedding is not on, there has to be actual fear that you're not going to make the wedding.

really? why?

probably too late to help the OP, but I had a lovely weekend in a rented country house near Paignton - it slept 13 but we squeezed in 21 - with a pool, games room and field for ball games. we took a PA, cooked lovely meals and obviously drank lots of booze. I think that, not including transport, it cost everyone £60 each for two nights plus communal food/beer kitty.

oh and 8 of my 'stags' were girls including my sister and best woman. everyone agreed that going co-ed made thing much more fun!!

for my DH's stag do they went on the train to Newcastle to the races and stopped over the one night in the cheapest hotel possible and then spent all sunday getting merry on the train home again.

While the whole thing was quite quickly organised and a bit impromptu i would say of the stag nights the lads still talk about it was DH's (and thats compared against expensive weekends away to Prague etc)
