Would you forget your child's birthday and what would you do if you did? (Sorry mum here but desperate)

Im so sorry guys for posting here.

My OH works away in the week. It was my DD's 3rd birthday today, baring in mind he is in germany. He didnt phone until I text him about an hour ago and asked him to ring me. So on the phone he crapped on about himself as always then asked what I had been up to today, I then explained how busy I had been thinking he would remember but he didnt. I then told him it was his DD's birthday today. He said 'oh shit, I am so busy I forgot!' and then just said 'so what', and 'you phoned just to have a go at me?'

I am so upset that he didnt remember, I am so upset for my kids too.

I was actually thinking about this the other day because MIL forgot DH's birthday

I honestly don't think I would ever forget my DC's birthdays.
