A toast to a thick white

I bought a thick sliced "Super soft white" loaf from M&S the other day and think it is the best bread for making toast.

Just thought this might be of use to someone.

Ok, this is a joke, yes?

CaptainPants · 30/03/2009 10:56

Just showing my feminine side while addressing one of the most important issues of the day.

Toast is the corner stone of society. It encapsulates some of the basics that separate us from other animals.

Toast is not a joke.

Morrisons do a extra thick bread that's fab for making toast too - in a dark green packet

VinegarTitsTheVirginNun · 30/03/2009 11:07

White bread is orrible, i prefer wholemeal or granary, but agree with ruby it has to have proper butter, nowt else will do for toast

TrillianAstra · 30/03/2009 11:10

White bread is necessary for chip butties or crisp sandwiches.

Mmm, carbs in carbs

Toast is what you do when your bread is a bit stale.

CaptainPants · 30/03/2009 13:12

Wholemeal and granary for toast! You must be crazy.

Stale bread is for bread sauce.
