There is something about very wanky jobs which only women can get away with. Tedious stuff like holistic colour therapists and healing aura designers.

That kind of baloney always sounds so much better coming out of the mouth of a lissom creature with tumbling ringlets, a shapely dress, a velvet jacket, boots, bangles and a little tattoo.

Perhaps this is why so many colour supplements feature women doing cupcake-type businesses. They look the part in a way men never could.
