Male Perspective please.

Would you move in temporarily with your ex partner and your dd on and off for about a year, even though you are supposed to have a g/f? During this time, would you reminisce about the old days when dd was a baby. Although ex partner is being quite distant sometimes he asks me to move in with me and dd and wants me to go to a party with him. What is this all about when he has a g/f.

Personally, I think the move being suggested sounds like a problem waiting to happen.

The ex is an ex for a reason. Either you are with him or you are not. You separated for a reason, the problems might come back.

What happens if the child decides she wants to stay and you want to go, but the child wants you to stay as well? rock and hard place spring to mind.

Don't start something that you might want to "unstart". It's not only you who is going to be affected.

That's what I think.

I haven't even touched on the possibilities from the "meant to be" girlfriend.
