im not a dad but thought this might be the best place to ask. we are economising and changing from a 2l mazda 6 to something in the £35 tax band and preferably group1 ins. the aygo has come up top in those categories, also has excellent fuel efficiency. the only thing thats worrying me is the size. i have a 3year old and am expecting another in may so will need room for my buggy. its not a big buggy but i know the aygo is very small in the boot. anyone know of these. how did you find them?

My parents have one and love it, with two kids and a buggy it would be tight though. A Toyota Yaris is a bit bigger (we have one and love it, the fuel economy is amazing) and it would fit your criteria.

not sure why you would limit yourself to Dadsnet as many posters might hide this thread and obviously women drive cars too! Just put it in chat if you don;t get enough response.

I test drove Yaris and Aygo two years ago when I had a 2yo and another on the way. I went for Yaris in the end as the Aygo boot is very small and fitting a pushchair in was a challenge (and I used to have a Smart car and therefore one of the smallest buggies on the market!) I have never regretted the choice, and can get buggy and shopping and two kids comfortably in the Yaris. I've got the 1 litre engine one to keep costs low.

I would say go to your local Toyota deadlership and test both. Mine were lovely and could not have been more helpful and non-patronising.
