Ok, here's the mission if you decide to accept it...

I want to watch the 'NHL Winter Classic' (Detroit Red Wings v. Chigaco Blackhawks) which was televised in North American on 1st Jan.

I want to download the full game off the internet if possible but I just can't find it. Can anyone help?

(it was a rather special and unusual game where they played outside in Wrigley Field)

Perhaps you could download it in the podcasts section here www.nhl.tv/team/console.jsp

thanks. I've tried the NHL site direct before and you get some small clips of highlights and some commentary stuff but not the actual game itself. I'll keep digging though.

I'm willing to pay. It's not like I'm looking for a bittorrent download or anything (I'm pretty straightlaced when it comes to that kind of stuff) so I'm surprised I haven't found a site where I can simply buy it to download all legal like.

Have you tried North American Sports Network? www.nasn.com

DaddyCool · 05/01/2009 16:24

can't see any download sections and my dw won't let me subscribe to NASN

I've tried google video but it's blocked at work. I'll have to try when i get home.

this is weird. Surely there is a website that charges for legal downloads??
