I have an ASD son who is obsessed by fish and fishing and his birthday is at end of month. I have bought him a couple of books from Amazon and he wants a rod rest for beach fishing - they are about £15 from what I have seen on internet. You really need to know what type of fishing your dad does and then take a trip to the local angling shop. For Christmas last year, my brother bought my DS a load of weights, line etc - he was made up !Happy shopping.

Send him up here, DH is a ghillie, he can have a go on his river

Seriously tho, DH orders a lot from tightlines

Alternatively, the best (and most used) fishing gift I ever got DH was a tiny salmon-engraved hip flask and a half-bottle of malt to go in it
