...DW is in early labour. Contractions just under 10mins apart.

So far the pools filled and DD is off with the grandparents. DW is posting questions on mumsnet and talking about "show".

Fed the cats, made some toast and coffee.

Is it impolite to put the 360 on yet?

Very impolite and I think you'll find it is every 5 minutes now

LOL this is the sort of post I oculd imagine DH typing!! (although I had 2 elective c sections he spent the time in hospital before I went to theatre reading all the sport sections of the newspapers, going to get a coffee, popping to the loo (result of drinking to much coffee) and basically doing anything but sittings till!!

my exd cleaned the kitchen cupboards out while I was labouring in the pool in the kitchen! lol

DW has given me perission to amuse myself on the 360 provided I "keep an ear out for baby arriving". I suspect it may be a ploy.

I'd ring anyway. They can only tell you to call again later (and it means they can check they have enough petrol and know where the G&A is )

i have been following your story quite closely, have exchanged a number of emails with your DW re the whole homebirth debacle , am keeping fingers and toes crossed that this little one makes a calm and peaceful entrance into this world, at home

Dula is on the way. We're loath to ring the MW until its necessary Effie, we don't want that clock ticking. We're stuck at 7 mins at the moment, I'll give them a call at 5mins.

Things has slowed a little since DW got in the pool. Still at 7mins.
