There was a thread from him recently, he namechecked you I think expat. Said he was going climbing somewhere I think...was a couple of days ago, try the archives.

Mercy · 18/06/2008 17:28

I don't think I even knew he was back! I'm obviously not around when he is these days.

Zippi, he might well have mentioned you. It was addressed to about 3 people, you could have been one of them.

Saymyname · 18/06/2008 17:30

Pan · 11/07/2008 13:29

I have been away on a fantastic holiday to Turkey, and also my laptop has been in at the numpties technicians as I have lost my power knob.

But I have discovered I can mail from work!!!!

Pan · 11/07/2008 13:34

Great you've been climbing in the fresh air, zipps!!

My excursion was ...um...mixed......

I climbed up about four spaces, so about 12 feet up, but then couldn't see where t ogo to next....climbed down, climbed up again....no feckin idea!! The GOOD THING was that I wasn't at all afeard of falling off - and wouldn't be in getting any higher than 12 feet!!

We are returning to a place called Burbage, furhter along the Stanage Edge where the rock offers more leverage options for the rock virgin.

Isn't there alot of stuff to carry around?? And it's not light. I think I need a footman as well.
