Daughter becoming distant

Since my divorce my daughter has moved in with her mother and her partner. He seems very controlling and am worried he is manipulating my daughter to distance herself from me. Her texts and messages seem unnatural and not the same I used too. I am worried he is manipulating her, as I am sure he did with his mother, and I am worried.

How old is your daughter and how much time do you spend with her?

If you are trying to maintain the same relationship with her and relying on texts and messages it won’t work.

you need to actually spend time with your daughter in person, texts & messages wont work.

How often do you see her? Do you FaceTime? What is it about the text messages that seem wrong? Do you have examples?
