hello all! we have just put a new starter motor in our 89 fiesta. we had to boost it to start it again thanks to little fingers playing with switches, anyway, it started up fine but the RPM needle was essentially reading in reverse. the higher the engine revved, the lower the needle went, and when we shut the car off it came to rest 180 degrees from where it's supposed to sit at zero. DH is out there now tinkering. any ideas what could be going on???
