Removing age restriction on Osper cards

Both my kids have Osper cards. One is 16 the other 14. Frustratingly Osper blocks any shops that sell alcohol so they frequetly cannot buy from cafes or the like. My son (16 yr old) went to boardmasters and couldn't buy anything from any of the food stalls.

Find it a bit overly big brother of them doing this. Am in the process of getting a Starling account for my son but this is truly aggravating for them as it stands.

I wouldn't have chosen a card you pay for in the first place at those ages as they can have a bank account with card from age 11.

It's not a bank account so they can have different rules. And if they are offering it to much younger children I suppose it's easier just to have a blanket ban on certain retailers than to let you pick and choose where they can use the card.

seems that not only can you not turn this "super nanny" off you can't add the card to apple pay. Go Henry does both so will switch to those asap.

Why use a card you need to pay for at all?
Get them bank accounts with a card and they will be free
