Driving test in Llantrisant

DS due to take driving test in a few weeks in Llantrisant, some 150 miles away! Is there any Llantrisant locals that can comment on difficult junctions or road set-ups in the area. We will drive down to Llantrisant for the test, but my DS will have very limited time to practice in the area, so any hints or views form locals welcome.

Are you regularly checking to see if you can transfer your test to somewhere local? We did the same as you and booked a driving test in an unfamiliar location some distance away but managed to transfer to his local centre although the new test was about a month after the first which suited anyway.

thanks CountTo10. I did look on the internet without success. Your link is for another test centre, for some reason Llantrisant driving test routes are nowhere on the internet, (I know that is dangerous to say), Mumsneters I would be so happy to be proved wrong.

How did DS get on - did he pass ?
