Parallel World

I am assuming this part of the internet is largely misogynist free, which is why I rise this here.
Much of the talk on Mumsnet seems to be in a parallel universe as far and women and men are concerned. I can see the huge amount of creepiness than women put up with. But if the world was like I read on Mumsnet, I would have had relationships where I was regularly put first, my partner undertook the housework for me while working full time, and concerned themselves with my emotional well being etc.
I think it is genuinely sincere, and I wonder what is going on?
