i hike the seat up coz i'm short, but it's not pulled all the way to the front, yet i can only just get the seatbelt to the clip (i'mnot a big fat beasie, either, before you try and gently ask about whether i'm a tubber! ) so why the feck is the seatbelt so short? it's a w reg, we had an n reg saab before this and the seatbelts in that one weren't short! i'm preggers (v. early) and when i get my bump i won't be able to fit the seatbelt round!!!!!

Back seatbelts on a 93 are really hard to get over a child seat too.

i am not a bloke but i know what you mean. my dad drives a y reg saab 93 and when dd was a little baby we had to abandon a trip out because we couldn't get any infant carrier car seat in the rear seats cos the seat belts were so bloody short. in the end the only one we found that fit was the britax first class 0-4 car seat that is a pain cos it's fixed in the car. they are really abnormally short

make sure you check the fitting in the car before you go buying a baby car seat

we've got 0ne dd already, so found the first car seat was a pain in arse a bit, but the next one up, the forward facing, isn't too bad, but what the feck do saab think they make cars fr? teh peperami monster or something?? But, beautiful days, while you're on britax car seats.. i've got two first class si (from my sis, she had twins, dd is using one and i've got one 'spare',) they've never been in accident or bump and welllooked after plus from sis who would not have given them if any doubtsabout them bneing 100% safe, but i noticed onb the saide it says 0-4, or other words can be used as a first car seat it=f fitted as rear facing, do you know if that's right? Yes, i could check the web site, but it'ss 11 and i'm idle!

yes they can be used from birth rearward facing, provided you have the newborn insert pad thingy.

TA! Every time i've pt dd in car i've seen label at side and thought 'Hmm, i wonder if i can use this from birth!' and now i know!
