My wife isn't keen. What's it like first time.I've always had it cut grade 2 or above but mid 50's now and with hot weather i really like the idea.My barber does magic with the top and i just grow it out but when windy it sticks up so I have to wear a cap.
What's it like?If your wife disapproved did you just shave it anyway?

I have a grade 1 cut all over my head - mainly because I am thinning at the front and on top, and don't want to look like I am trying to hide the thinning bits. It is great, and super easy to look after. But the first time you have a buzz cut your head will feel freezing.

get a mohawk, then the sticking up will be a plus not a minus
