So....what do men want?

Just curious really, I'm in a new relationship and I am not entirely sure whether things are going as they should. I seem to be pretty rubbish at dating, so I just wondered if any men on here would be kind enough to share their views/experiences.

What do/did you want (or where did you want to be) in a month(ish) old relationship and how do/did you act towards your partner?

Sorry this sounds so lame, but would appreciate any insights!

[Lurking, waiting with eager anticipation for any men to emerge and reveal all...]

...does this make sense tho because everyone is different

i don't want the same as another woman so i don't hink men all want the same from a relationship

a month is very early days..can you just see what happens

I've just left a new relationship (!!) - see the skid mark thread from a few days ago.

When I asked my new beau to cool off a bit - perhaps spend a little less time at my house (leaving skid marks on my bedsheets!!) he has completely freaked (bearing in mind we're only 5 weeks into this relationship and he's probably spend 98% of that time staying with me - WTF how did that happen?).

I have now been receiving threatening emails demanding the repayment of every penny he spent on me !! He has obviously gone through his receipts and itemised everything and calculated the cost of dating me !!

I am now disengaging my freak magnet and will try again to find a lovely young man for some fun and laughs !! Preferably one that doesn't smell faintly like he needs his nappy changed (I kid you not!)

what zippi says. We are individuals!! What I quite like will be utterly different to what someone else likes. For me, cool, enigmatic..that sort of thing. But NOT wanting a 'chase'...couldn't be arsed with that stuff.

and reading about lots of other poster's experiences...you don't half pick 'em!!

Be yourself. If you're what he wants, he'll be happy.

If you're not what he wants, you'll both find out very quickly, and you'll both move on.

And relax, and enjoy it. : )
