Cold/fever how long should it last?

Hi all. Our little one is 11 months old, our first child. She has been a little under the weather for 3 weeks now, blocked nose, coughing in the night. It's not COVID as we had to rule that out for nursery.

How long should it last? We are a little concerned the blocked nose and cough don't seem to be getting any better and it is disrupting her sleep (and ours!). Temperature was a little raised for a few days during the 3 weeks but that was short lived so didn't worry us.

How long has she been at nursery? Honestly when they start they are ill for months constantly! So I wouldn't worry too much unless she is really struggling

Nursery for 3 weeks - so coincides.

On another note she also had a bad tummy for a few days but it stopped 2 days ago so no sick or diarrhea...however she has completely gone off her solid food and pushes it away (prior to bad tummy would gobble food down!). She is also not taking all her milk feeds, only 3/4oz as opposed to normal 7oz at a feed and again seems to have a little bit of fear about putting anything in her tummy.

Is that normal after a tummy bug?

Awww poor thing. Tummy bugs can take a long time to get your appetite back, I know I don't usually start to eat properly for a week or more!
You can monitor wet/dirty nappies to make sure she isn't getting too dehydrated. Speak to GP if worried.
Hope she feels better soon!
