Nursery feeding times

Hi everyone, our 10month old baby girl starts Nursery in a few weeks and I was after some advice/tips from experience around this altering feeding routines. The solid meal times are the same as we currently have with our little one apart from dinner/tea serving time; the Nursery feeds a substantive meal at 3.45pm. We would not usually feed dinner until 5-5.30pm followed by a milk feed around 7pm before bedtime.

I assume most nurseries are similar so I was wondering did others just drop serving a dinner at home and pull the milk feed forward a bit earlier? This is our first child so still learning as things change!

Thanks

They're always hungry when they get home from nursery so do a snack then - toast and a banana, cheese & crackers etc then milk at bedtime.

Mine get home from nursery/after school club at 5ish, having had tea at 3.30/3.45. We do snack plates and a glass of milk. Works fine.

My son’s nursery do lunch around 11 then tea time around 3:30 usually a little snack after too for the kids that stay later.
I collect him around 5:30 and he’s usually fine. I always keep snacks in the stroller though

We did something small like a one egg omelette or some fruit when she first started. Now she’s 2.5 and for about a year we’ve been eating dinner early when she gets home and she has a small portion of whatever we’re having. I find it quite a good way to introduce her to new foods.

Are you sure it's a substantial meal? All the nurseries I've worked in did a decent snack such as soup/sandwich/crumpets and fruit etc as a snack so parents could eat with their children at tea time

Similar as above
Breakfast between 8-9
Lunch 11.30
Tea 4.30

I will then offer DD toast and fruit or a small portion of whatever I'm having for dinner at about 6.30 & then milk at about 8 for bed.

DS has dinner around 4-4.30 at CM. We offer fruit/snack plate or something like that. We find it’s always best to offer it, sometimes he just shakes his head and wants some milk.
