Anyone know when Lost is coming back on?

On the council telly that is. ER too?

DW is asking. I think she feels a void after Heroes finished.

It kinda suits me to - as Wednesdays are my footie/quiz night at the pub.

I just know she will be texting me all night if there isn't something good for her to watch on the box.

Someone told me it starts again in Feb. It is taking so long as they are not having a break in the middle of the series this time.

Will just check the website...

Seems to be Feb.They are airing it here at the same time as USA. Channel 4 lost the rights to Lost so it will be aired on Sky one.

Have no idea what council telly is sorry! Do you mean ch4?

EricScrooge · 06/12/2007 16:29

Yeah - not Sky basically.

Never, I think. I was really into it until the end of Series 2. Then it went to Sky.

They might stick it on Sky 3 (Freeview) eventually but I'm not holding my breath.

EricScrooge · 06/12/2007 16:43

Someone will buy it after it has been shown on Sky surely?

I think state telly won't get it for ages. It's got to have its run on private first. I heard it has to be 3 years.

Sky One have the rights pretty much sown up. Best bet is the DVD, or you can get individual episodes relatively cheaply on iTunes. It's well worth it. It actually answers some of the questions I always had, but opened up a whole lot more. And the ending's awesome.

pootleflump · 19/12/2007 22:55

No need for Sky One, I watched the whole last series online for free on www.stage6.com even though I have Sky - I could get it a couple of days earlier here.

download it, or get someone to do it for you. That's what we did last series!

EricScrooge · 20/12/2007 10:59

It's just not the same as pulling up a chair in the lounge at a regular time each week is it? Plus watching it in a PC monitor just isn't the same experience really.

I think for her it is the anticipation leading up to it and the dissecting of it at work with her pals which is also just as important.

The only time we have watched anything on-line was when she had missed an episode of Heroes.

Ok, this is what I did. I was gutted when it was no longer on CH4 as had never missed an episode. Couldn't be bothered to download it and watch on the monitor either.

I joined Amazon DVD rental £3.99 per month - I can get 2 dvds per month. This was the best solution I could come up with. I almost bought it but we don't really buy dvds to keep. I almost subscribed to SKY but thought that was a bit over the top.

I'm guessing it is series 3 you mean - as 1 & 2 were on CH4.
