hi guys, am thinking of getting DH subscription to FQ magazine for Christmas but am wondering if its any good?

also he really isn't into the lad mag scene, so is it full of pics of women and swearing, or decent stuff like gadget reviews and daddy info?

thanks for your help!

Have only seen a couple of issues and it seems to be gadget reviews and daddy info written in an amusing blokey style.

My DH was quite into it when he saw it (and we're still expecting!)

I like it a lot - I always read it when I give blood at the West End Donor Centre (i give blood quarterly so they always have the new one there). I haven't parted with money for one, although that's only because I have never found one in the shops and I can read the bits I want in about a pint's worth of the red stuff.

It's refreshing to have a magazine which combines the good stimulating stuff of GQ (inc. literature, interviews) with baby-gadgets and on the basis that you want to be actively involved in your kids' upbringing. Great also for seasonal ideas about days out when inspiration comes slowly (a lot of things seem to happen more slowly for me these days!). There is less of the laddishness in it, but then they're pitching to a 30-something audience.
