A long shot but do any of you chaps know anything about vintage Airfix?

My MIL has unearthed a whole load of my DH's old airfix toys from the 1970's, most in their original boxes in pretty good condition and complete. He has asked me to sell them on e-bay but I have no idea about possible value - does anyone have any idea what if anything they might be worth?

I have had a shufti on e-bay but prices seem to vary enormously and I don't really know what I'm looking at. I have quite a few bits and bobs including american, british, japanese infantry, and various trucks, tanks, guns etc.

Being a girl and all the appeal of these things is somewhat difficult for me to understand but I gather some people like 'em!

Speaking from a position of absolutly no knowledge whatsoever, I'd suggest you look at more specialised dealers, rather than just plonking them on ebay. At least do a bit of research to find out if they're worth something first.

Speak to these people - they are anoraks on the subject (although fairly normal people) and can advise.
