A question about Rugby

Help! My son is dead keen on Rugby. He should have been called up for the U13 County squad but it hasn't happened yet. I don't know if this is simply due to incompetent administration or politicking within the Blazer Brigade.
I have a contact that I have phoned a couple of times (who promises things that haven't yet materialised) but I can't keep harassing him. How do I get things moving without getting myself and, more importantly, my son a bad name?

Do you have an oficial contact for the under 13 squad? I would try them direct and if they say they do not know then they should be able to give you a rough timescale.
If your son had a trial then they should contact everyone to let them know if they have made it or not.
Do remember that most the people who run these organisations are volunteers and consequently things can appear slow and amateurish.
Who is the contact and how do they know who is in or out?

Thanks for your post BGD. The problem was not that we were waiting for the outcome of a trial but that we had never been called for a trial in the first place!
In the end I decided to phone my contact yet again and we have now got a date.
