Ideal Christmas presents for men

Hello, I want to spend some time getting a really nice xmas present for my lovely DH. I went on the internet for ideas, but all most shops/sites offered were ultra depressing cufflink/corkscrew presents which were dull, impersonal and just plain sad. who wants a corkscrew or 'vintage slinky' for xmas??
I bought him an expensive watch 2 years ago and he has no major hobbies, he runs a bit and supports liverpool but as we live abroad a season ticket is not an option. So men- what would you like for Christmas?

thanks!

I would get him a flight to Liverpool to see a match.

Or get a Liverpool kit that fits you...

Subscription to Setanta Sports cable tv package, that has LFC channel.

Erm, does he like cars? Anything else he's into?

Luxman - I also have no idea what to get DH. he isn't into sport but likes cars, he won't let me buy him clothes and usually tells me not to buy him anything as its a waste of money. If I didn't buy him anything he would sulk big time .

does he have an mp3 player? this was a big hit for my dh's birthday this year, along with the fm transmitter so he can use it in the car

Bought Dh the nike ipod running thing and trainers last year - he dead impressed and uses it lots - well would but since we moved I haved packed his ipod and can't find it!

Am having a local artist paint a picture of our house for hi this year - he is into art so think that may go down well unless it is shite picture!

Good running kit is always appreciated by my DH (because he'd never but it himself). Have a look at www.wiggle.co.uk, they post overseas.
