.....How good is that?

Had my lunch watching Top Gear and a bit of bushcraft survival.

As close to perfection as it could get - food, can of cold beer, no kids and Clarkson/Mears to entertain me.

Good in the eves for a laugh too with shiz like Buzzcocks and QI.

Cool as.

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 25/10/2007 08:56

totallyfreaky · 25/10/2007 08:57

what!!!!???? So I have been missing it for years?

Olihan · 25/10/2007 08:58

Ha ha, I was just coming to say that LVOC!

jelliebelly · 25/10/2007 09:00

I don't think this is a new channel - its just changed its name from UKTV something or other - my dh is addicted to it!

MascaraOHara · 25/10/2007 09:16

It's brill.. and I love the fact it's called Dave.

littleNonSpecificHolidaylapin · 25/10/2007 09:19

It's my favourite channel (I heart Jezza) and I'm especially loving the Dave thing!

Eric, did you see Ray Mears and Ewan McGregor last night? DH and I watched it, me going "oh that's interesting" and "wow, look at that". DH's contribution?

"What a spotter."

EricL · 25/10/2007 14:55

Didn't get uktvg2 so it's new to me.

No lapin - didn't see that prog. I want to see that James May/Oz Clarke wine tour thing though cos i missed it first time round and it was supposed to be funny.

Dave is currently showing the first series of The Apprentice on Thursday evenings at 9.00.

OozingSlashesFromTigerFeet · 25/10/2007 15:00

It's only appeared on Freeview since it changed to Dave

I love it, it has all my favourite telly on it

Top Gear, QI, Buzzcocks, I could go on and on...

EricL · 25/10/2007 15:05

Haven't seen Whose Line Is It Anyway for years - so am glad they are showing it again.

Wonder why they ever stopped it really.

I think they still do Who's Line over in America, it's usually shown on Five US over here. It still has Ryan Styles.

Hot Shots Part Deux did not shoot his career into orbit then.

clerkKent · 19/11/2007 13:20

By brother says it is a rebranding of UKTV Gold. DD (9) watches it all the time - she likes fast cars and Jeremy Clarkson (wtf).

colditz · 19/11/2007 13:23

It is excellent. I can just imagine that no Jeremy put that schedule together, no. That is a job for A Man Called Dave.

edam · 19/11/2007 13:26

Love it esp. having LOTS of Top Gear and QI. But then, I am a bit blokey anyway - I rescue the spiders round here while dh scoffs any biscuits/chocolate in secret and hides the wrappers!

Threadworm · 19/11/2007 13:33

Dave has kidnapped my son and is brainwashing him into blokery. Worryingly, he has started watching endless re-runs of Top Gear and I fear that he admires Jeremy Clarkson. I forced him to sit in front of Cranford last night as an antidote, but I fear to no avail.

Kevlarhead · 19/11/2007 19:01

DS is becoming a fan of the "Silly men in fast cars".

I'm not a fan of parking him in front of the TV, but this weekend we were all completely stuffed with cold, and when the Cbeebies signal packed up, it was nice to watch the Veyron vs Eurofighter race. Followed by Scrapheap Challenge on some other channel (another DS favourite... sily men making cars... there's a theme here...)

EricL · 20/11/2007 00:18

I love Scrapheap Challenge. I like to watch the repeats on Sunday. My DW thinks i am sad but i don't care.

I guess it's a kind of envy cos i wish i could build something from scratch like that - AND IT ACTUALLY WORKS.

((sigh))

The A-Team should have entered Scrapheap Challenge. They can make a rocket launcher out of a plimsole.
