You don't need a second phone line to watch sky in the bedroom, just get a remote system. Much cheaper.

you do if you want to watch diffrent channels, i live with my parents so i dont really want to watch what they watch

get a second box and sky multiroom, eliminates the need for another phone line cos the second box would be linked to the first box and therefore the existing phoneline

spooky i already thought of that and they said if i want to watch diffrent channels i will need a new phone line

I have one telephone downstairs but have another one in my bedroom but it is "wireless", i.e. doesn't use a phone socket.

I have sky in both my living and dining room and have different channels available on both, one for me and one for my children. Cut off time for the living room is 6:30 when I can then sit down and watch what I want (very selfish of me) but, once they have finished their homework, if they want to watch Sky they can watch it in the backroom.

All Sky did was extend the line from the hallway (main extension), into the living room and into the dining room.

Cannot Sky do this for you, taking the line from downstairs and wiring it up to your bedroom.

If you can;t get away with not having a second phoneline, then have a look in your local paper. There are often ex BT engineers working for themselves who will do the job for a fraction of the cost.

Thems the choices im afraid.

I am happy with my Freeview boxes up and downstairs as i don't watch that much telly - and it gives me a damn good excuse to go down the pub when they footy is on.
