OK...I've run out of ideas and imagination!

DH will be 38 next month and I have no idea what to buy for him...he likes gadgets...so far I have bought him a new Amp, new speakers, a palmtop thingy, a bose sounddock for his i-pod, a digital SLR and different lenses for said camera...

What else can I get for the man who seems to have everything??????????

tickets to a gig, I bought dh tickets to see New Order who he's always loved. We had a great night out and didn't feel like parents.

Chirpygirl · 21/05/2007 21:09

I think you've bought shitloads!

If it helps I bought DH a headlamp for his birthday for when he is working on the bike or computer...he loves it!

yogimum · 21/05/2007 21:09

chilledmama · 21/05/2007 21:43

Does he drink? I found a great website for vintage wines/ports/brandy/whisky - dp was thrilled with a 1963 port last year. Just so happened to be the year he was born and an oustanding vintage year

LadyOfTheFlowers · 21/05/2007 21:48

sex?

LadyOfTheFlowers · 21/05/2007 21:48

thats what dh always wants! pmsl

chilledmama · 21/05/2007 22:22

LOL Lady!!! Yes, I could be persuaded to go for that one!

The port idea is also v good especially as he's in the RN!!

whats teh budget?

yogimum · 22/05/2007 07:35

my dh is in RFA and a bottle rum always goes down well with sailors!

pammo · 22/05/2007 13:38

I bought my DH who turned 38 last month a RC Micro Mosquito Helicopter off ebay for approx £25. He loved it, announced that it was a cool present and promptly crashed it within hours!

Gee72 · 22/05/2007 14:38

A weekend away please

UnquietDad · 22/05/2007 15:57

A lie-in, and a late breakfast at a place of my choosing.

BigGitDad · 22/05/2007 16:11

A lie in and a late breakfast in my bed would be lovely! Fathers day coming up soon (ish) but I gave away that day in lieu of Mothers day. I was coming back from Cardiff after the rugby on Mothers day, said I'd swap days. Got bugger all on that day too..

DaddyCool · 22/05/2007 16:48

single malt whisky. boring i know but i'm a whiskey freak.

DrDaddy · 22/05/2007 19:46

Lie in, champagne brekkie, watch Bristol play rugby in afternoon, lovely meal with DW, BJ.

ScottishThistle · 22/05/2007 19:51

Looks like a lie in, brekkie in bed, bottle of spirits & a BJ could be a top Birthday present...Pretty cheap too, bonus!

BigGitDad · 22/05/2007 22:32

Can you have a choice as to who gives you the BJ?

ScottishThistle · 23/05/2007 05:39

BGD, I'm sure a lot of women would be glad to give the pleasure to someone else!

chilledmama · 23/05/2007 13:23

ROFL at myself for almost asking what BJ was!!!!!

Thankyou all...he doesn't do lie ins but I bet he'd like the rest!!!

Don't worry, I've remembered Fathers Day too!

If any other ideas out there let me know...budget around £100 (ish)...on Mat Leave so a bit skint!!!
