Hi there all Dads especially petrol heads

I am in the lovely postion of being able to buy a new car . What I wantis a car that turns your head..

BUT
it can't be a flash convertible adn it has to be under £20k.
I love Golf GTI's - but tell me ...what else would make you look twice a the driver ( and yes, I am in the midddle of an early mid life crisis!!)

Go on - what are the cool cars out there?

Audi A4 ... very nice, even the estate version, which is saying something as they are usually ugly. Athough not sure if you can get one under £17k.

Really sporty cars turn heads too. I like the Focus ST.

The Civic Type R is pretty cool ... not seen an old person driving them.

Most really sexy cars are driving by fat ugly old men, so it'd be a change to break the norm!!

My dh thought Elle Mcpherson's convertible was quite cool...

We have a mazda rx-8, it is fab, turns heads
It has loads more space than you would think, DS and his car seat fit nicely in the back and his pram in the boot with plenty of room to spare!!

Is that the on with the Rotary engine? A friend of mine has one and he loves it too.

Yes its a 1.3 rotary, which kicks out 228bhp, but there is also a 5speed which gives 189bhp.
