Hi all, anyone been to relate with major marriage problems and survived? I’m bricking it as want it to work!

Relate aren’t always the best people so shop around for a counsellor who fits with you. I went to relate and have also seen other therapists. Basically they’re not magicians, you’ll only get out what you put in, so if you both want it to work they can help you to find ways to manage conflict better. But they can’t wave a magic wand and make someone into the person you wish they were.

Yeah know what you mean, went to 1st meeting came out feeling a lot more hopeful in marriage. 2nd meeting different councillor, didn’t click with her neither did mrs. What other places are there (finances are tight and can’t really afford relate)?
