My dad is having what might be described as a mid-to late life crisis/ shag fest!

i think he is worried about getting old and 'past it' and so is on the rampage, but it's sooo embarrising to whitness!

he propositions nearly every woman he meets, leers at my friends, and then phones me up and tells me all the gory details when ever he's been on a date! yuk!

how can i explain to him that he is behaving like a randy teenager and maybe if he didnt say "i'm on the pull" to the women he does get to go out with him, he might actually form a meaningful loving (sexy) relationship with one of them. instead of putting them off with his desperado act!?

A male perspective would be helpful!

I did think that one of the tasks of being a parent is to embarass your kids, but..I wasn't thinking in this way at all..

have you talked to him about it, at all?? He may/will see it as a bit of harmless fun.

I would outright tell him that you find it embarassing and to keep you and your friends out of it but that you don't dissapprove it is just a bit odd.

Has it conincided with viagra being avalibale over the counter??

I think he is au-naturel in that this episode is not viagra induced, but you never know..

I am chuffed for him that he's getting some etc,
but i just dont want to hear all about it or have to
whitness his blatant attempts at chatting up every woman he meets.
Also i think his way of going about it is all wrong, i think his 'i'm on the pull' line is more a show of bravado but it's not what a woman wants to hear, most women want to feel cherished and special, not one in a long line...

I don't think you can stop him, tbh, but you can state firmly that you don't wish to hear any of it. After that, not sure where you go with it.
