Which would be the best robot animal to have?

Robot whale to swin round the world and dive underwater in? Robot pterodactyl for flying about on? Robot giraffe for sightseeing in busy towns?

I would have said a robot horse, but I reckon a robot horse would be just as uncomfortable as a real one. Maybe a robot woodpecker to do the high up tree pruning I hate doing, and picking those hard to reach apples? Nah, I'll go for the whale. Kitted out inside like a camper, with a deck chair on top. I could just float up to a beach and chill in style.

Robotic dog, as long as it's functions were limited to those of a vacuum cleaner which could cope with steps. No Robotic affection please. Or perhaps a Robotic Eagle which could police which cats are permitted in the back yard.

I have no idea why robo-phone added an apostrophe to "its" above.

Mums allowed to join in?
Me and dp spent a long time discussing this a few weeks back and decided on a dragon.
Fly to get you everywhere.
Fire breath for home security.
Wings for a tent wherever it's flown you.
Hot body for free heating.
Dragon because come-on, its a freaking dragon!

Robot Dragon. Agreed.
