are a bit on the masculine side in terms of perspective, thought, world view and the way they live their lives more attractive than 'fem' women?

I don't mean dykey-looking women.

But ones w/traits considered more masculine.

I wonder sometimes, if it's not in one's nature, b/c I never found men who think like women attractive, but strangely uncomfortable. I always liked the contrast of a man.

And, frankly, the women I've encountered who are more masculine - again, NOT talking looks here - I've not really liked.

Point of curiosity, really.

Depends what you mean by masculine traits. I like a woman to be feminine but not twittery and giggly.

Definately feminine but not too girly and "i need a man to do everything for me". That does my head in.

Hmmm, I've always been quite butch, both in appearance and thought. (And dykey looking, tbh)

Quite a few men do not find this attractive, but certainly enough do that I've never lacked male companionship.

The men who I've dated have often been not very butch themselves (which is also my personal preference), and have tended to date a lot of ex-lesbians or bi women, and certainly lots of butch girls.

So yeah, some men really prefer butch women, and others don't.

she is stunningly beautiful, even in her 50s. She has the most wonderful smile and is softly spoken. And her voice when it's in the same room, well you can imagine. She's a very nice mummy too.
