Do you mind if I pick your brains - razor related

Feel free to tell me to feck off or ignore if I shouldn't be posting here.

I want to buy an electric razor (shaver?) of some type for ds2 who is 16 to try to prevent the "you have to shave this morning, you haven't shaved for a week, you are going to get (yet another) detention" conversation every morning.

dh is useless - he has always wet shaved. ds1 has a Braun he is happy with, but he only needs to shave once a week anyway.

ds2 likes the stubble look . His school have a clean-shaven rule, which he tries to by-pass, hence the arguments - he has quite a strong beard and it looks awful when he doesn't shave for the best part of the week.

I'm wondering if I can buy him a razor that leaves short hair on his face (and I mean very short, so it looks like a day's growth, not four or five days).

Any ideas/recommendations welcome. Thanks in advance.

That's what I use. It's the best one I've had, and looks like it's on offer in argos at the moment. I'm sure any 16 year old would be well chuffed to receive one, it looks and feels like an expensive bit of kit. Only thing I'd like to change is to have a charging station, but that's just being picky. I used to keep my facial hair very short, but now I use the highest setting and have a short beard, and this trimmer is good for both.

Thanks Chiefy - I'm obviously looking for a stubble trimmer/beard trimmer rather than a razor, which narrows it down.

I've shoved that in my Amazon basket while I have a think :)

I'm using this one but I also use it to trim my hair (if its not too long).
