The best books for Dads to be?

So I started a thread in pregnancy for books for mums to be and of course a lot will be the same for dads, but my DH wondered are there any books that you as a dad (or your partner as a dad) have found particularly helpful? Any books aimed at Dads that are really good?

We're more leaning towards attachment parenting, though due to my medication will probably be bottle feeding. So not so much strict routines and leaving baby to self-soothe and more co-sleeping type stuff would be really appreciated! Humour also goes down well! Grin

Also more interested in baby's first year than pregnancy.

I read a pregnancy book aimed at men, but nothing afterwards. Just went with the flow. Worked a treat. Sorry.

Thanks, RunningDaddy. My DH is a worrier and will cope a lot better knowing what to expect etc so I really feel books will help. May repost this in another section with more traffic - didn't realise it is so quiet over here!

Fair enough, but he will also have to know that the baby won't necessarily follow what the book says or conform with however you choose to deal with it.

I find the BabyCenter "My Pregnancy" and "My Baby" Apps quite good.

Not specifically for anyone person but a very good read.

check out 'commando dad' DH says the books are fab, and he greatly enjoyed wriggling round the house on his belly looking for floor height hazards!

I got my DH 'The New Father: A Dad's Guide To The First Year' by Armin A. Brott, which he liked and found very useful. Amazon has got it new (expensive) or fairly cheap second-hand, but it's widely available.
