Have heard a few amusing parenting tales over the years.
We were talking with friends about taking children to doctor/hospital. One of DW's former colleagues, who we'll call M, has a small boy. One day when M's son was about 3, she panicked because he was lying on the floor, red-faced, waving his arms and legs and screaming. He just wouldn't stop.
M took him straight to the doctor and they were there within about 20 minutes. The doctor asked her "so when did this start?". And she said
"When I wouldn't let him have a packet of sweets."
Yes - common-or-garden tantrum mistaken for a seizure!
