Is Box of OMG a scam?

My daughters friends have subscribed to a service called Box of OMG. Its supposed to be a box of goodies sent once of month, you can guarantee this for £4.99/year. We got double billed, no one answers their emails or forum posts and when we login we are asked to pay another £4.99 to be in with a chance to get the goodies. Very disappointed daughter.. Anyone else with similar problems?

I do box of awesome for my son. You can collect points for a box every 2 months. The £4.99 is to guarentee a box (this is paid per box and not yearly)

Don't pay! I get like 5 boxes a month of each type for free! If u pay its a scam if you don't it's fantastic!

We get Box of Awesome - think we're paying £3.50 every two months. They're ok, especially if they've got Haribo books in them.
