I have a lame name according to DW. "You sound like you've just stepped out of a salon".

When I chose the name, I was thinking of the "Summer Nights" song from "Grease" but apparently I must be gay if I like a musical.

I'd like something manly yet sensitive - just like me

Any ideas?

Tell me more Tell me more (geddit?) about yourself so we can give you some you appropriate suggestions.

When I saw your name, I immediately thought of Grease and in fact started to sing the song which people will probably hate you for!

Well mine isn't exactly manly either but I like it

WellaWellaWellaHuh · 04/08/2006 20:39

Do you mean that with one post in the men's room I'm turning mumsnetters against me?

I don't believe it!

As an international man of mystery I can't say too much

Some people have cursed me because my name always makes them think of the song and then it gets stuck in their head for days ... at least they remember me for something

WellaWellaWellaHuh · 04/08/2006 20:41

As long as people are thinking more John Travolta than John Frieda I'll be happy

Man of mystery eh, ok what about FatBloke, DrEvil or Austin?

But honestly, I agree with oops, like your handle.

noddyholder · 04/08/2006 20:42

The fact that there is a mens thread is controversial and manky yet sensitive!!!!!I need to lie down

WellaWellaWellaHuh · 04/08/2006 20:42

Well I'm trying to shake off the "award winning" razzle dazzle.

It didn't win a grammy

Well I think your name is good, for one (and this isn't a dig at those who have) it doesn't have the obvious 'dad' or 'daddy' reference. Names that come from film qoutes are good too

WellaWellaWellaHuh · 04/08/2006 20:51

So which film is "where's my froggy from"?

Reservoir Frogs?

WigWamBam · 04/08/2006 20:54

You could stick with the Grease theme with a name like T-Bird, Scorpion, Kenickie or JohnnyCasino.

The other one from the film that I'd suggest is Mr Rudie but I think you might find that got you into trouble

wheresmyfroggy · 04/08/2006 20:55

Blazing saddles actually

So you still gonna change it?

WellaWellaWellaHuh · 04/08/2006 21:15

No - thanks everyone, but it's grown on me now.

Wellawellawellahuh is here to stay.

I just became a little concerned after DW's remark but now I know that you think of Grease and not greasy hair when my name appears.

gotta go now - work beckons

TambaIsBadBadBad · 04/08/2006 21:23

I like the name

HappyDaddy · 07/08/2006 09:25

Don't worry mate, I thought of Grease too.

And you can't be gay cos neither am i and my favourite film is Singin in the Rain!

Next time she says it, fart in her face.

Somanybabyseagulls · 08/08/2006 07:08

Hd, good morning, good morning to you! It's my all time fav film. Have been considering name change to somanycalories (trying to shed the lard) but LeneLamont is quite tempting now, what do you reckon?

HappyDaddy · 08/08/2006 09:47

If I saw LenaLamont as a MN name I'd wince!
