My DD is 8 months and my ex still doesn't seem to care about her. There is no patience or empathy for her, and he just seems to get bored and prefer talking with anyone nearby (usually with his back to her) , rather than playing with her.
He sees her for about an hour most weeks, and says he can't make more time at the moment.
Did any dads find it hard to bond with a child they had never lived with? And what improved this?
